The works involved the Midlife refurbishment of 13 Living in Accommodation buildings each containing:

 

• Two Story building

• 16-bedrooms accommodating 32 people

• 4 x Common rooms

• 4 x Kitchenette and;

• 2 x Laundry Rooms

 

The works involved:

• Mold Remediation

- Specialised cleaning of mold contaminants, providing a

PRV Certificate for each building.

• Architectural Services

• Demolition of existing internal tiles, kitchenet, bathrooms, plasterboards and cabinets

• Installation of new kitchenet, bathroom fit outs, bedroom cabinets, laundry fit outs, window screens, painting to all surfaces

• Supply and install new furniture

• Mechanical, fire and structural services.

- Demolition of existing air-conditioning assets, exhaust

fans, Installation of new outside air preconditioning

system, exhaust fans, mechanical service switchboards,

and BMS.

• Hydraulic Services

- Removal and replacement of 21 Roof mounted solar hot

water systems

- Replacement of hydraulic fixtures and features

• Electrical upgrades

- Replacement of switchboards and alterations to sub-

circuit wiring, replacement of fans, GPOs, internal light

fittings
